Hi folks Kathleen here with my review of the new Brady wig by Noriko.
Every time I’ve see the color Plumberry Jam-R I think it would be a great color choice as a holiday wig. Not everyone wears or wants long hair for the holidays and Brady with her funky style would be fun and sassy in this fashion purple.
Only 2.2 oz so very light.
Image 3 is a closeup of this gorgeous color. I was amazed how vibrant and rich this color was in person. The violet and coral pink in this mix is what makes it so dynamic.
This was my first Noriko wig believe or not 😉 and I wasn’t sure what to expect. I had heard about all the permatease Noriko uses and that they run small. Well yes Brady has plenty of permatease on top but honestly no more than I would expect with this sort of style. I didn’t need to do any adjusting on her to fit me so I would say she definitely runs small. She might actually be too snug if you have a true average sized head. I say that because there is very little stretch in this cap. The fibers are soft and silky but not overly shiny so that was a plus.
I wish the hair were a little longer at the temple to the bottom of the ear tab. It’s quite short/skimpy in that area. I personally didn’t have a problem with coverage but I did have to fiddle with the hair to make sure all my bio hair was covered,
The back is sweet. I love the fine feathered edges at the nape and all around this style.
Brady does have a lace front that with all honesty is quite average in quality. The lace is stiff and the knots are large. I personally wouldn’t feel confident styling Brady off my face entirely. Having said that a lace front is still nice to have though and I’ll tell you why…you can play around with the bangs and have the lace front peeking through the bangs here and there. It still provides realism and the bangs always lay nicer with a lace front.
Since this wig was on loan from CysterWigs I didn’t use any product in her. Looking at image 8 I am reminded how much Brady could benefit from some Jon Renau Piece Out Crème…lol. All this texture would really come alive with some product.
Image 9 illustrates the wispy feathery razored edges of Brady. Her texture sticks up and out all over this style. Its the epitome of funky. 😉
Image 12 illustrates how this color Plumberry Jam-R will look at a distance in natural even light. All the vibrant highlights won’t be apparent but instead a gorgeous rich medium to dark reddish purple color will be. Such a perfect color on fun and sassy Brady.
The take away here is if you want a fun funky sassy pixy in a gorgeous vibrant yet sophisticated fashion purple that won’t swim on smaller headed wig wearers than Brady is for you. Fun holiday hair for pixy wearers. Enjoy!
