Eileen’s Review: Bon Bon by BelleTress

I have been on the hunt for a wig to take on vacation to the beach and I think I found it!

Bon Bon is part of the BelleTress Café Collection, natural colors inspired by coffee culture.

Every year we travel to the beach for our family vacation and I am always trying to find the perfect wig to take along; one that can take the wind and that I won’t have to be constantly combing, etc. This year I decided I’m going to find a wavy wig that will fit that description and I think this one fits the bill perfectly.

Bon Bon is heat friendly (something I’m still getting used to), she is a wavy bob with tons of texture and layers, she also has face framing layers that I find super flattering on most face shapes.

I love most bob styles but tend to lean toward the more professional ones, this however is fun and flirty, a change for me and one that I am willing to embrace! I love the soft wave pattern on Bon Bon, the fibers are very textured and silky and the length is perfect for summer!

Bon Bon has a 100% fully hand-tied lace front and a 100% hand-tied left-side monofilament part; she is open wefted in the back with closed ear tabs, no extended nape and bra type adjusters. Bon Bon has some permatease but not an overabundance of it.

The specs on Bon Bon are, bangs 6″, side 4″, nape 4″, back 10.5″.

I ordered Bon Bon in the shade Honey with Chai Latte, a light golden brown nape with blended golden blonde and medium golden blonde highlights on top and a medium golden brown root.

I compared her below to RW SS Golden Wheat which is a medium honey blonde with soft gold blonde highlights and medium brown roots.

Above is a comparison to EW SandMulti Rooted which is a dark ash blonde and light caramel brown blend with hints of strawberry blonde and medium roots.

I also compared Honey with Chai Latte to JR Shaded Praline which is a medium golden blonde on light golden brown nape and base with platinum highlights and medium brown rooting.

The only down side of Bon Bon is that she doesn’t come in many shade choices, but the ones that are available are beautiful.

The length of Bon Bon allows for some fun styling options, a simple head band, clips or barretts can change it up but honestly the messier the better!

If you are looking for fun beach hair or just messy everyday hair have a look at Bon Bon!

This wig looks great on you Eileen! I’m going to have to try this style after seeing how fabulous it looks on you! Please let us know how it performs as a beach wig. I think all of us struggle finding the best wigs to travel with depending on the climate. The dilemma is always I want to look great when out of town but I don’t want to destroy my best wigs!
