Eileen’s Review: Reese By Noriko, Creamy Toffee-R

Reese is one of Noriko’s best selling wigs and I can see why, there are over 30 shades to choose from, almost everyone should be able to find a shade they love in Reese.

Reese required very little “styling” just run your fingers through it and you are ready to go! There are varying lengths in this styling making it very on trend; I have seen so many people wearing this exact same style with their bio hair, or maybe they were wearing Reese!

The specs on Reese are a front of 5.5″, crown 6″ and a nape of 4″ making Reese a little longer in the front than the back; another fashionable on trend feature. This style of cutting makes this style so flattering.

I have Reese in Creamy Toffee-R, my favorite Noriko color; which is described as a base of light golden brown with hints of medium golden blonde and beige-platinum blonde highlights, and darker roots. If you have read any of my previous blogs you will know that I’m a big fan of rooting on blonde wigs, in my opinion this give a very natural look.

The style of Reese is a true shaggy bob, with its layers and varying lengths this is one will probably work on most face shapes, the longer front hits right under the chin making that a very flattering feature.

The back of Reese is shaggy and layered, I love the look of this, you can really just run your fingers through it and make it as messy and tousled as you like, it will always look great!

I love to accessorize my wigs and Reese is no exception, I firmly believe you can change the look of a wig with just a few accessories; this is important if you only own one or two wigs and want to change your look from day to day or day to night!

The pictures above show how you can change Reese by just adding a headband or a simple barrette to give her a totally different look.

Reese also has enough length in the back to use a clip or rubber band to create a cut short pony tail; You could also do a half up half down style as well.

For my taste, the bangs are a tad long. I would definitely trim them to keep them out of my eyes, but that is a super easy fix.

Reese has very basic cap construction with open wefting in the back, standard rose lace top with of course permatease. There are closed ear tabs and felt nape. Again, I love permatease but if you don’t be warned that this wig does indeed have it. I love the way Noriko does their permatease, on Reese it looks like you just back combed it a bit, not overly done.

I think you can compare the Noriko Creamy Toffee-R to the SS Golden Wheat by Raquel Welch, both have blonde highlights and medium rooting and are similar in color.

Below is Jon Renau’s shaded mocha, as you can see it is a darker richer shade compared to Noriko Creamy Toffee.

Below is Estetica’s Designs R14/26H, somewhat darker than creamy toffee with fewer highlights.

The price point on this wig is excellent for the amount of hair and styling she provides; if you haven’t tried the popular Reese maybe its time, you won’t be sorry!

I enjoy the color comparisons side by side. R14/26H is one of those I’ve wanted to see.
    Thanks for showing us.

Hi Zanetta; I enjoy the comparisons as it is hard to get a feel for colors from stock photos (for me anyway), thank you so much for leaving a comment. xoxo eileen
