Two of my favorite words, “Hair Mail”, who doesn’t love to get hair mail; I get excited when UPS rings my doorbell and leaves a package from CysterWigs at my front door! This time it was Naomi by Jon Renau.
I must admit my heart skips a beat when I unwrap the packaging to revel the newest addition to my ever growing wig collection. This is how Naomi arrives, very nicely packaged, since this is a HD (heat defiant) wig Jon Renau includes a wide tooth comb as well.
As you can see the color I chose was 12FS8, Shaded Praline, a very popular Jon Renau shade. Next, lets discuss cap construction.
Naomi has a 100% hand-tied lace front as well as a 100% hand-tied monofilament top, both of these features make this wig extremely versatile, you can change the part if you like and the lace front makes it perfect for off the face styling; look at that rooting, more about that later.
The remainder of the cap is open-wefted making it extremely cool and easy to wear, living in the South this is a feature I enjoy year round.
There are generous felt ear tabs on this wig; this view gives you another peek at that beautiful lace front!
Naomi has an extended nape so you get great coverage and allows the wig to lay flat at the base of the neck; there are elastic adjustable bands to give you that perfect fit.
The color I chose was 12FS8, Shaded Praline, this is my favorite (so far) Jon Renau color, it has various blonde hues that make it a great color selection. Shaded Praline is described as a medium golden blonde with a light golden brown nape and base with platinum highlights (these are seen in the sunlight, see picture below) and a medium brown root. If you are like me and prefer blonde shades you won’t be disappointed in Shaded Praline.
Here are a couple of looks at that lace front! I love that you can wear this wig off the face with confidence, the lace front is done perfectly!
Naomi has so many fun flips and layers; the bangs can be worn swept off to the side or pulled back to expose that lace front. I pulled out some of my hair on the sides to blend in, I also used a small amount of blending powder to cover up some of my “grays” on the side, I think it was a perfect match to the rooting!
Above are some pictures of the rooting on Naomi; all of my wigs have rooting however, Naomi might be my favorite so far, the rooting on this wig is totally believable! The picture taken in the sunlight shows the platinum in the coloring.
Naomi has unlimited styling options!
Naomi can have tons of volume and movement or you can make it a sleek professional look. Also remember this is a HD (heat defiant) wig so you can use a curling iron or flat iron to get your desired look.
Above are a few more styling ideas for Naomi, I love headbands and clips/barrette’s, they can add variety to any style making it look completely different each time you wear it; I like to have these types of options for wigs that I wear often.
Sometimes as simple as a hair clip can totally change the look of this wig!
Hand-tied lace front and monofilament top, heat defiant, lots of colors, tons of styling options are only a few reason to get excited about Naomi, it is a “hair mail” winner!
