Hey y’all! This is Gina and today I get to show you Mena by Jon Renau in the color Shaded Peach (30A27S4).

One of the big things I absolutely love about Jon Renau is that they take a lot of time to provide great learning tools to care for their products. (They have excellent resources on their YouTube channel and on their Facebook page.) Learning how to take care of the Heat Defiant fibers is especially important because they require a lot of TLC. But this trade off allows you can heat style these fibers and they are not as shiny as regular synthetics.

Just noting: This Mena came bobby pinned to the protective casing. There was a hairnet but it seemed to have slipped off during shipping…it happens.

Mena has a lace front, monofilament top, open sides and back. The lace front is extended and the ear tabs bendable. You can tighten or loosen the cap with the velcro adjusters.

There’s permatease at the wefts to achieve the lift for the style.

Mena is gorgeously styled into a pretty dramatic angled cut. My mena came with box hair which is an easy fix after a quick wash or water soak. Then all you have to do is style her in the position she’s supposed to be in and voila.

You can see the dramatic cut better here with the short nape and much longer front.

Mena fit great on me! As always, I prefer wearing my wigs with a wig grip and right now I’m using a fishnet wig liner to contain my biohair. Trying to tuck in my biohair, especially at the nape, was super important though. Mena has 1.5″ nape so long bio nape hairs need to be concealed or trimmed.

Standard biohair coverage. Please expect some biohair to show.

Mena in Shaded Peach is perfect for me for summer. She gets the hair off my nape and the color really lightens and brightens me up. 🙂 LOVE HER!

Proof that there is a red for the dark root is what really ties this into your natural coloring…:-)
