Mich’s Review: Jon Renau’s Gisele in Shaded Mocha (24BT18S8) vs. Shaded Praline (12FS8)

Gisele: The Tale of Two Colors

The reason I am so infatuated with Gisele by Jon Renau is the sheer versatility of this hair. It goes from day to night and is limitless in it’s versatility. The hand tied lace front is impeccably done to appear natural and realistic. My date thought I had great hair to which I graciously accepted the compliment. When he asked to touch it, I demurely replied: “that will cost you”. lol. Kidding. This is fabulous date hair if your date can control his enthusiasm. lol.

Cap construction does not disappoint. Feels lightweight on your head for sure with velcro adjusters and felt ear tabs; no extended nape yet there is felt material at the nape and is very comfy. The monofilament top affords one the confidence of parting the hair in a multitude of styling options and again adds to the realism. Meticulously constructed from the lace front to the mono top which is nicely rounded at the crown. Fear not because there is sufficient permatease for volume. The hair never looks flat on your head.

My head circumference measures 21.5 and the cap fits like a glove.

Note: the cap is slightly more snug than the Estetica cap but slightly larger than the Ellen Wille cap with an open wefted back with some stretch to it.

If you want a natural, realistic, sexy yet understated hair, this is an excellent choice. My only wish is that Jon Renau would offer this in additional Shaded Blonde colors.
