Eileen’s Review: Sassy Sparkle

Summer has arrived here in the deep South, and I’ve got a perfect wig to wear in this heat. Let me show you Rachel Welch’s Sparkle, I have her in SS14/88 or Golden Wheat, this is one of Rachel’s shadow shades. I love the light brown roots that fade into a beautiful golden blonde that looks totally believable! This lady has a basic front with a good amount of soft felt in the back and front, I find the felt keeps the wig very secure, although I always wear a wig grip. The size of this wig can be adjusted a good bit with the Velcro straps, also there are open ear tabs making wearing glasses super easy.

The specks on this wig are a 4-inch bang, 3 inch sides, 4-inch crown and a 1.5-inch nape which is one of my favorite features of this wig, the nape hugs close to the neck so when you look down it does not move away from the neck. The cap is what Rachel calls the memory cap, which means it molds to the shape of your head, it really works! This wig has a lot of stretch, so if you have a petit head this might be somewhat large on you, but for us with an average head it works perfect.

I think the back of this wig is adorable, it is very “flippy” with lots of texture and tons of layers. There is a good amount of permatease making this piece have a lot of body, add some wig gel and you can make this as spikey and fun as you wish or it can be worn smooth and professional. I find the sides a great length making it easy to wear the hair behind your ears or brushed toward the face.

However you choose to wear this wig you can’t go wrong, I think this lady is the perfect summertime sassy wig!
