Hi folks I am comparing four of my pixies that are quite similar in style. They all have an asymmetrical longer side sweeping bang. From the front Point by EW, Lia by TOB, Natalie by JR & Jett by Estetica look the same..ahh but they’re not. Let’s explore the differences.
Point by Ellen Wille in Light Mango Mix is heavily textured all around even her fringe. The only one that has more texture/layering is Jett in R14/8H by Estetica. You can really go to town with some shaping cream to bring out all the texture on these two.
All of these have a long fringe. Natalie has the longest fringe at 5.25” vs 4.25”-4.5” of the other three pixies. Lia has the wispiest fringe…very layered and heavily textured. This is illustrated beautifully on Lia in image 3.
The backs are very similar…the napes range from 1.75”- 2.5” but all look relativity the same length at the nape. Why is that you ask? The fit. I have a petite/aver head and wear all styles from all brands. Point and Natalie fit me better than Lia and certainly better than Jett that is huge on me. Take a look at Natalie and Jett for instance. Although Natalie has a nape measurement of 2.5” she looks shorter than Jett that has a 1.75” nape. Its important to know your head size so you can better gauge where a wigs length will fall on you. For your reference I list not only my head measurements but the length of my face at the end of my posts.
Point by Ellen Wille and Jett by Estetica are the closet in style out of these four. Points fit is a petite/aver and Jetts fit is aver/large. If you have always loved Point but you have a large head than you would love Jett. Another added plus is Jett is the only one that has a lace front. A exquisite lace front I will add. A full temple to temple lace front that visually melts into your skin. Sometimes manufacturers add lace fronts to pixies with bangs (to get the cost up in my opinion) and the lace front is so pluggy you would never style her off your face. Not with Jett. Even in this dark color the knots are so small that they are nearly invisible.
I love point in Light Mango Rooted. Btw check out this color on images 3 & 5 that very light strawberry ginger blonde is only in the front. It transitions into a beautiful brownish light ginger auburn. Love this very dramatic color. Point has a mono crown…what’s that? Its a very small (quarter size) round monofilament circle at the top of your head so instead of permatease that you need to make sure is covered up it’ll look like hair is growing from your head.
What I love about Lia are her wispy bangs. I always had very thin hair so this has a very realistic hair density if you have/had fine bio hair. Also she comes in my beloved red 😉
Natalie is light and overall longer than the other pixies compared in this post. If you haven’t worn a pixie before but want to try one she would be my choice. She’s reasonably priced and wears like iron.
Ahh Jett. My absolute favorite pixie. In my opinion the most natural brown in the world..lol well how about in my opinion 😉 My problem with her is she’s huge on me. But that doesn’t stop me from wearing her. She’s just an absolutely well balanced design and with her lace front the possibilities are endless. I hope comparing these pixies helps you decide on which one you like best…enjoy!
