The Beauty And Power of Microblading

By CysterWigs’ Contributor

Autoimmune diseases and the medications that help treat them can sometimes leave you feeling drained – physically and emotionally. Some of the ways that women of all ages can take control of their health is by learning to manage their disease, alleviating many illness-related stressors and by learning how to look and feel their best despite the circumstances.

While many people think of hair loss as only the loss of the hair on your head, the loss of your brows due to illness or medication side effects can be equally upsetting. Take heart though, cysters! There is an option that has more staying power than brow creams or pencils.

Microblading is a simple process that combats obvious signs of hair loss, saves time and money, looks natural and appealing, can last for years and requires very little maintenance. New eyebrows are easy to obtain with this tattooing technique that fills in or reshapes brows by drawing tiny lines that actually look like individual hairs. No one will detect your secret and you’ll feel like a million bucks.

Microblading is pain-free, safe, and usually takes less than two hours. During a session, an esthetician will start by carefully numbing your brow area with safe, effective numbing cream. Next, they’ll use a specially designed pencil or marker to sketch your new brows. Finally, they’ll use the microblading tool to create the hair strokes that result in perfectly shaped eyebrows that match your hair color, shape your face and create a whole new look.

Whether you wear wigs to cover hair loss, as a quick way to create a pulled together look, or just for fun, you’ll love how microblading creates natural looking brows that perfectly frame your face. It’s a low maintenance way to sculpt your brows, match your natural coloring or even brighten up your looks with a new color. Careful where you go for this. I asked a professional to do this in a light brown and ended up with ORANGE eyebrows.

Microblading is great! I agree that you really need to research where you have them done and if it’s right for you. I had mine done over a year ago and I have no regrets. However, if you are like me and have no eyebrows, it’s not quite as quick as this article suggests. It is usually a 2-3 session process and needs to be refreshed every 6-12 months. There are very specific after care instructions as well.
You get what you pay for. In other words it ain’t cheap!
With that said I love having brows again!

Thank you for sharing this post! Pigments could be different colours, indeed. But if you end with orange eyebrows it is because you have found not so experienced esthetician. In addition, if you don`t like the colour you can repeat the procedure and hide it with a darker colour. It is not a tattoo so the pigment is in an upper layer of the skin. This procedure is a blessing for so many women around the world so I can`t say a bad word.
