Our client, Karen, is sharing with us today a look at Abbey by Envy in the color Sparking Champagne.
I took a leap of faith in ordering this wig. I hadn’t seen any real reviews or photos before I ordered, other than the standard manufacturer photos in only one color, a dark one at that! I usually research a wig ten ways to Sunday before I shell out the bucks. Not this time, though. The reviews just weren’t there.
Whatever possessed me to buy such an expensive wig on such scant information? Three things – Taryn, Shyla and Heather’s CysterWigs summer sale! I own one Shyla and six Taryns in various colors. I am a huge, huge fan of the Envy hair blend of synthetic and human hair. So, holding my breath, I jumped off the diving board into the unfamiliar pool named Abbey.
Abbey does not disappoint. What a babe! She is a cool, sleek, sassy little number who makes me feel waaaay edgier than I really am. There’s only so much “on trend” a 57-year old mom can be, right? I tried a new color for me in Abbey, Sparkling Champagne, a rooted blonde, and promptly fell in wig love.
I like a wig I can heat style, as stick straight and as close to the head as possible, as shown in these photos. However, if I want to pouf Abbey out a bit, I can do that also. Options are good. I’m not a big hair chick (bite my tongue, I’m in Texas, so can’t diss – it’d be sacrilegious here, lol).
Abbey is wonderful, seriously. She can be styled conservatively enough to satisfy your pearl-clutching Aunt Rose or heat-styled in wavy curls. She has a 100% hand-tied cap, monofilament top, lace front, and a soft chiffon cap. This chick has it all. So glad I took that leap of faith and brought her into my life!
Thank you Karen for taking the time write this review and showing others how stylish you can make Abbey!
