Hey girls, this is Zanetta. I started wearing wigs full time in the summer of 2017.
One day I was watching videos on youtube to build my knowledge base and somehow found Heather’s review of Elite by Ellen Wille, in the color, Pearl Blonde Rooted. The search was over for me…she went on my short list…I was sold on the color!
Elite is a classic little bob cut. She has beautiful natural movement with her delicate strands and is super low density which makes her even more believable.
The lace front is the best of all my wigs. It isn’t itchy and is comfortable enough to wear all day. I do secure it with a little It Stays and slightly adjust the straps to make it a little more comfortable for my petite head size.
She measures: 7″ on the Front, and the sides are 7.5″. The Nape is 3″ and the Crown is 9.5″
The Ellen Wille cap seems to be a bit smaller than my other brands. The felted ear tabs hit just at the temples like they should. If you’re an average size, you probably wouldn’t need any adjustments.
Pearl Blonde Rooted is incredibly DYNAMIC to say the least.
The rooting is dark ash blonde with strands of medium ash blonde and the highlights are where the pearl comes in. These strands are almost like vanilla and perfectly blended for the most believable wig I have to date. When I pull my bio hair out at the sides, you can hardly tell where the wig ends. She looks like I spent a fortune in a salon.
I grew up blonde and heard the term, “mousey blonde”, more than I wanted. What it really meant was that there was an ash tone in my hair color. It was really important to see the color and read the description for understanding to settle in. I have learned so much about color shades and tones on my wig journey and I’m thankful for all Heather’s color spotlight videos.
Buying this color took me way out of my comfort zone but I’m telling you now…you won’t be sorry if she ends up in your home. I think this color is way under-advertised.
So glad I took the plunge on this color and my first Ellen Wille.
